Find More Deals is not a forum and not a coupon dump. It is a filtered feed. Every offer on the showcase passed an automatic review, and the rules of that review are written here so you can judge them.
Where offers come from
We read more than 70 feeds from around 25 US stores and deal publishers: store feeds (Amazon, Woot, Best Buy, Walmart, Target, Newegg, Apple's refurbished store), and editorial deal feeds (DealNews, Slickdeals front page, Tom's Guide). Each feed is fetched every ten minutes, every five during sale events. A source that stops responding is flagged on our dashboard within three hours.
What gets rejected automatically
- Generic promotions. "Up to 70% off sitewide", "Save on select items", "Sale!" with no product. If there is no product, there is no deal.
- Phone cases and screen protectors. They flood every feed and are never a meaningful saving. We do not list them.
- Accessory noise in hardware categories. A laptop backpack is not a laptop. Each category has an exclusion list (cases, chargers, stands, cables, mounts) so the Laptops page shows laptops.
- Weak refurbished discounts. Apple refurbished under 20% off is Apple's normal price. Not listed.
- Duplicates. The same product from three feeds is shown once, linked to the first source that reported it.
- Dead links. Every offer's link is re-checked in rotation. A listing that goes to a 404 or an "out of stock" page is marked ended and drops off the showcase.
What gets ranked higher
- Price between $40 and $300. That is where a percentage discount is real money and the purchase is not a mortgage. Cheaper items are shown but ranked lower; a "50% off" $8 item saves $4.
- Lowest price in our history. Once we have a week or more of daily prices for a product, an offer at its lowest recorded price gets a green mark and a boost.
- Real brands in real categories. Sony over "SOUNDBAR PRO 3000".
- Editorial confirmation. An offer reported by two or more independent sources ranks above one reported by one.
What we do not do
- We do not accept payment to list or rank an offer. Our income is affiliate commissions (Amazon Associates, eBay Partner Network and Sovrn Commerce for the other stores), paid by the store after you buy, at no cost to you. The commission never changes the ranking: the offers are chosen by the rules above, then the link gets the affiliate code, never the other way around.
- We do not write fake reviews or "best of" lists of products we have not compared.
- We do not hide the store. Every offer shows where it is sold and links to that store, not to a middleman.
Corrections
If an offer is wrong (wrong price, fake discount, dead link), email us at the address on our privacy page. Confirmed reports remove the offer within the hour. A source that produces repeated bad reports is disabled.
